moneymabel, your website is fab, everything looks gorgeous:T

Well after running around in circles for the last few days I think I've finally come up with an idea I can run with . Thanks to CTC throwing ideas at me , it finally got my brain to focus and reminded me of something I'd been thinking about doing a couple of years ago. I've been researching it all morning and it still looks viable but a lot of hard work.

I do need to set up a website , will check out the link Ambersunshine posted but am a total technophobe so will probably shouting for help:o

The thread is moving so fast it's hard to keep up but anyone just joining us do try read as much of it as you can as there are tons of ideas on it
    Good luck everyone

Well I haven't managed anything much other than playing my Bingo Britain free money and keeping up with this thread. Too little time left when you work full time and you have an 8 month old baby who has decided evenings are for playing not sleeping. Oh well, should be some time at the weekend hopefully!

I've noticed there are a few students on here, and someone was asking how to make money from students. The best time for this is end of term/end of year. People get rid of their textbooks, which can be great sellers on Amazon. Also, if your university has a lot of foreign students they are great for bargains - when they fly home at the end of the year, they often ditch a lot of their stuff. I had a friend at uni who used to go round the skips at the end of the year. He'd pick up great fully working mobile phones, laptops and the like. They really do chuck this stuff (baggage limits and daddy having too much money for them to care I'm guessing). I'm not suggesting you go round skips, but you could always put up notices round the uni offering to buy stuff - you can probably get it really cheap! Just an idea.

I joined dooyoo and did 5 reviews, so i think that is £2.50 in my pot.

I still haven't touched my £100 yet, as i have no idea what to buy with it? I can see there are some people on here that are quite clued up on Ebay, would you be able to let me in on what sells and what to stay away from. I'm struggling to even use there search option!

    Thanks

Hehe glad you liked it!! I made it in big and red so I can read it everytime I "research" (spend hours on mse forum) when I should be decluttering, ebaying and earning! :D

I do believe its a habit - (procrastination that is) and so I am trying to set myself up so that 2010 becomes the year i kick the habit !!

    Hi,

I am working my way through ebay 101 - Selling on eBay for part-time or full-time income, by Steve Weber.

I'm finding it really helpful, and i'm relatively new to selling on e-bay.

Do you know somebody who already sells on e-bay. A friend originally showed me how to upload photographs, and how to buy/sell/search/get help/PayPal set-up etc. It really is quite simple, but i'm not very technically minded. I didn't know where to start.

I have just about figured out Turbolister too. Though I had a similar experience to an earlier poster on here.
