    Hi all

I have read that some people are aiming to make £27 per day to reach the 10k target. To me this seems achievable in the very short term selling items you own however in the longer term it might be worth breaking the target down like this.

MonthStock Purchased Sale Price After Costs
    Jan £100 £125
    Jan £125 £156
    Feb £156 £195
    Feb £195 £244
    March £244 £305
    March £305 £381
    April £381 £477
    April £477 £596
    May £596 £745
    May £745 £931
    June £931 £1,164
    June £1,164 £1,455
    July £1,455 £1,819
    July £1,819 £2,274
    August £2,274 £2,842
    August £2,842 £3,553
    September £3,553 £4,441
    September £4,441 £5,551
    November £5,551 £6,939
    November £6,939 £8,674
    December £8,674 £10,842
    December £10,842

To reach the target you need to turn you stock over once a fortnight making 25% on each lot after all costs are removed.

Another way to look at the task is you will need to turn over the first line of the table 400 times in a year. ie 400 times buy stock worth £100 and sell for £125.

Yeah we pay by DD. Only moved in here in Sept so have made 4/5 payments (The 5th payment is going out any day now.) Is it just a simple £x amount divided by how many months you dont have a aerial? for us it would be 7 months, so £145/7 ? iygwim?

This is similar to when I canceled one. When I requested a full refund they sent 1 month and when I questioned it they indignantly said I hadn't requested all the money back. They then sent me a form to fill in with messages everywhere warning me that it was an offense to watch TV and not have one. It was a pain to get sorted but worth it as in the end they paid up. They still send threatening letters to that address though ... no TVs in residence so I just ignore them now.

I have heard a few people on here mention winnings from free scratchcards. Are these online? If so where can I find them?

I too would like to know more about this if someone is willing to share. Thanks.

  • Hi

Please can you count me in aswell. I love this thread so inspirational......:j:j

I've not got £100 to invest but i've got alot of xmas pressies, kids stuff and hubbys clothes and perfumes that are cluttering up room in my house so i'm going to sell them to clear my cc debt. I'm a stay at home mum and want to support my dh financially as much as i can.

The only thing with ebay is that you have to pay them the final value fee - which is understandable as we're using their service, but i've started using gumtree and hotukdeals alot more and have sold a few things via them. Are there any other free sites out there?

Will anyone be willing to share their profit spreadsheet with meI as i'm not very good at making one up - know this is cheeky of me to ask and you don't have to if you don't want.
    .

any pennies loose money you see on the street PICK IT UP,,,, its suprising how this can add up.

    ...

I found a fiver whilst at work on the street...... and guess what it's going towards this challenge.:j:j:j
