thanks for this, so with my OH not having a job at the moment i'm better to register for tax in his name to claim his allowance?
If he is on any kind of benefits, these may well be affected by this. I am sure someone with more knowledge than I have will be along to help clarify the situation."I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0 -
Orginally I was only going to aim £2k but having thought about it i'm going to go for the whole £10k! My initial investment is £45 so i'm going to see how much it can make me!
I have opened a seperate account for the money but i will be spending it throughout the year on me wedding and hopefully extra debt repayment and get some stuff paid off earlyTotal Debt [STRIKE]£36323[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Dec 2012[/STRIKE] £19000 January 20160 -

if he is claiming JSA he will have to decalrre any self employment - he can work upto 16hrs per week but as soon as he hits 16 he has to sign off. Any earnings/hours of work have to be declared every fortnight and earnings taken into account less rlevant disregard. if he is claiming Income support 16hr rule applies and wages taken into account less disregard but depends on the reason for getting Income support, Carers allowance earnings upto around the £80/90 are allowed as long as still caring 35hrs per week or more. If on ESA/INCAP need to speak to J~CP regarding permitted work. Also depending on Age/Reason for not working etc the tax credits may kick in at 16hrs and not hte normal 30+ hours. Hope this helps!skintbint x

Ok so i was going to do something productive tonight for this challenge but i've spent the best part of an hour getting sand out of everything since my oh-so-lovely Son decided it would be a good idea to smuggle it home from pre-school in his pockets
Considering selling him to raise my 10k, would definately save me money too0 -

Why not rent him out as a 'try before you buy' to anyone contemplating parenthood, thus earning money without liquidating your assets. The bonus being that you free your time to earn even more money :rotfl:0 -
My staffie burrows her head in the snow and generally goes crazy
I am a pierced person yesMain things you want to find out are what material is the jewellery made from as lots of people will only wear (for good reason) high quality stainless steel (called 316L) or titanium. Cheap body jewellery can be found on sites like crazy factory, it's in Thailand but ships quickly.
You also need to read up on gauges (how thick the jewellery is, majority of piercings are 1.6mm but some are 1.2mm) and sizes (length, banana bars for belly buttons is usually 10mm although I personally can only wear an 8mm because of how they pierced it) hope that helps.
I have a few myself too!! I was interested in if you change you jewellery or leave it. I have found a supplier that manufactures in the uk and sells to wholesalers so I would be bypassing the middleman a bit. They have some really interesting pieces that I can see would appeal to lots of different people. I was thinking of using the made in the uk a bit of a selling point. Would this matter to you?
THanks
