I have to say that not only is the wrong category thing a breach of rules and you can get your listings pulled (and account suspended if you keep doing it), but it is really, really, irritating.
Ebay has categories for a reason, so that people can browse through them and not get bogged down in irrelevency.
It's only 15p to put it somewhere else, and you can charge postage on most things, which you can't on books.
Sorry, just felt I had to say that.
On a lighter note, is anyone else using selling manager? http://pages.ebay.co.uk/selling_manager/ I'm finding it really helpful- it's got auto-relist tools and makes it easier to find the useful pages etc. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -

Yep, I agree that listing in the wrong categories is a bad idea and will most likely lead to account suspension. I was asking because I have BOOKS to sell, which has been a lot harder to do on Ebay lately because of the new 'compulsory free postage' rule. Free listings up to £4.99 will make that easier so I'll be taking full advantage of the promotion0 -
Yep, no bonus for me either!
I have checked and got my bonus today - although still yet to win on bingo - will kep trying.
Will be starting my challenge proprley later this week, when kids are back at school and am going to have a sort out of their toys to list on ebay.
Everyone is doing so well :-)0 -
Hi, can anyone help me please, I'm on Dooyoo but completely confused as to how you find things to write about?
Also, for the people who are selling clothes, just had a look on Ebay for mannequins and there are some great ones for under a tenner delivered, you can get child and baby ones too, they're greatwas looking for a dressmaker's dummy to put things on that I've made, but they are way too expensive, the mannequins are great! Hth.
Hi, type an item, for instance 'GHD' into the search bar on the site. This will then generate a list of items. The ones that have a 'compare prices' tab are items that are listed in the catalogue. Click on the item and in the top right hand corner you will have an option to write a reveiw.
Some items aren't in the catalogue which is really annoying but there really is loads to reveiw!!
