Hi,
ive been on the computer for hours trying to download itunes 9, it all goes so far then says its been stopped, something to do with a dep that stops some programmes, thing is it won't install and I can't figure out how to take this dep thing off my computer. Which also means I can't use my iphone without doing this as I need to activate it though the itunes, and to top it all off Im a complete novice at all this sort of stuff, has anyone got any advice ???

From a quick search, it seems as if third party codec packs can often be imcompatible with iTunes and invoke DEP.
If you look in Add/Remove Programs do you have any entries featuring the word 'codec'?0
