Birmingham Midshires Annual Bond

Birmingham Midshires have launched an annual Bond at 5.21% the minimum investment is £100.
Looks like a good rate for a short term investment.
I have invested with them in the past and found they usualy give good customer service.

    Yes I saw this in the paper today & applied online - they're now gonna send me a form to sign & then I have to send off the cheque.

    I did one of these a few months ago, and it was easy enough to set up. Asked for the application form online I think and it was here within a week, sent off cheque et voila. Easy to do :)

    or for the over 50's Portman BS have a 1 year fixed Bond @ 5.25% but do not believe there is any Internet Account...I choose a 'real building' on this occasion because having sent my cheque to BM and then NatWest would not release it because they where not happy with my signature...the time wasted=lost interest and Raised Blood Pressure made me look for a local deal.
