Dont know if im being completely dumb but....

Im filling out an application for a credit card, what does it mean where it says credit limit? Its a current account, so im not quite sure what that is!

Also I have a credit card from lloyds that hasnt even been activated (long story basically gave it me with saying they were so never bothard activating, although its on my online banking and credit rating) but shall i put that on there too?

thanks!!

It means current credit limit on credit cards you already have.

And yes, you have to mention the LTSB credit card even though you haven't activated it and you do not use it.

Your new credit card company will be able to see this info on your credit report any way. But, they ask such questions on the application forms. May be to cross check!!!
  • thank you, so what would i put as my credit limit for my current account card, £0? coz im guessing it just whatever is in my bank right?

If you have an overdraft then that is your limit, otherwise you don't have one, so put nought.
