my dd whos 10 is looking a netbook computer 4 xmas............any advice on best & cheapest 1?..........ive seen one in as*a its an hp one would these be good can .I know you cant listening to cds wat can u do & not do on it............im not very techie........:rolleyes:

If you want a CD/DVD as part of it, then a nOTEbook would be the choice
For a netbook, something like a Dell Mini in pink would do very nicely I would think for a 10 year oldThere are 10 kinds of people that understand binary

Something I always suggest is to forget the nomenclature and go into your local store and try each of the netbooks out. There is an awful amount of rubbish out there with minimal difference in price. For my money, I would choose the Asus Eee Seashell and/or the Samsung N110 or N510.0
