    Should be covered by them.

When in MQ's in Scotland they came and sorted out ours. Fews years back but I do not think that it has changed although I will stand corrected.
Had a communal one when in Plymouth and that was maintained by them as well.

Is it not in your agreement (small print) that was signed when you moved in?

    Give them a ring anyhow.....

1 If DE authorise an installation of a non-analogue aerial system this would be done under INW (i.e. upgrade process). Digital aerials installed by MHS (under Response Maintenance or INW) will be repaired by MHS. MHS is not responsible for maintenance of any non-authorised Sky,
digital, cable or other non-analogue aerial. Poor reception through standard analogue aerials will be investigated and resolved with approval by DE. Poor reception through failure of occupants’ equipment compatibility is the responsibility of the occupant to resolve.

From the MHS Website. They can be really funny about it so be prepared to stand your ground!

I think we may sort this out our selves the DE/MHS has been dreadful, it has taken over two years to get a 2ft hole in the roof sorted, I think I TV ariel may be way down thier list and not worth the battle.

Thanks for all of the replies.

    Hi Lottebear,

It might be easier to purchase a indoor loop digital aerial from maplins, or even pay for a local engineer to come out and repair it yourself. I think to supply & fit a new digital aerial, using exisiting coax would be no more than £100.

    Also,

    Ariel is spelt Aerial.

    Regards,

    Alias

Utter tosh. MHS will fix your aerial if it is broken. I have just had mine done. MHS will contact there contractor and it will be done in the routine repair response time. Why pay for something they should and will do?

    OP,

Report back when they have repaired the aerial.

    gt568,

I suspect that they will be closing for christmas anytime soon, so thats now on hold till the 4th Jan. Then 2-3 weeks to have it repaired.

So is feb 2010 good for you.?
