I got my charges back!

Thank you so much for the information provided on here. I followed the template letter and sent mine off to Barclays asking for £940 back on the grounds of financial hardship. I didn't think for a second I would hear anything back, but I was very much mistaken, within 3 weeks I had the whole lot returned, no quibbles, and it was a few days after the banks had had their victory! I say go for it and see what happens, you have nothing to lose!

i have a loan with bos and i was made redundant in sept and because company went into liquidation i had to wait 6 weeks for wages. i missed one payment with bos and this was agreed with them that when i got my pay i paid up to date. this morning i got a letter from them with a default. and £50 charge for a letter, and £10 charge for a phone call !! i rang them up , i was fuming only to be told the charges would be cancelled as from last week they are no longer charging for letters and phone calls. at last the banks are seeing sense. just thought people might like to know this, btw this does not apply to charges already incurred, only from last week
