I have an integrated diplomat dishwasher (don't know model number but it has 5 programmes & only bout 18 months old). Nothing is coming out clean anymore, I have checked the rotor arms which are clear. I can unscrew & lift out the middle 'pot' in the filter but cannot see any way that the metal mesh filter plate comes out? It is all bunged up with food gunk now & I think this is just being splattered over the contents. Typically I cannot find the instructions either... Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, thank you.

Run it on the longest hottest wash setting you can with a dishwasher cleaner.

Forgot to say I'd tried that several times, also run it through with soda crystals. Tried using washing-up brush but the bristles just get stuck in the mesh. It just seems really odd this filter doesn't come out for cleaning?Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)

Does it need salt by any chance - I find even if you use the 3 in 1 tablets, mine works better with dishwater salt added too. Also I know it sounds silly but make sure the rota arms can turn when it's fully loaded - I've forgotton to do that a couple of times when DS has loaded the dishwasher and then have to put it on again!0

No, it's got salt & rinse aid & I had found the fairy capsule/tablets worked best but now nothing sorts it & I can see the filter is dirty - I just can't work out how to remove it for cleaning. But thank you

You might find an instruction manual for the dishwasher here http://www.whiteboxdeals.co.uk/pg-2-appliance-manuals.aspx.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
We had a similar problem with ours recently but cleaned the filters etc and still had the same problem. We then suspected it may have been the box of dishwasher tablets we bought from lidl (they were finish powerball ones) so we did the dishwasher cleaner bit, filled with salt, rinse aid and now use dishwasher powder. The dishes are now coming out sparkling!0
