text speak is very difficult to read in everyday life.
Just out of curiosity, are you spelling 'fort' because that's howyou think it's spelled or is that more text speak, if you didnt know, then the correct spelling is 'thought'.
regards
Annie
I would agree with you - the quoted post is extremely difficult to read.
However, as you've quoted the great Eleanor Roosevelt in your signature, my eyebrows were raised a tad, because it appears that you've deliberately tried to make that poster feel inferior by pointing out her errors.
Interesting.
But not very classy.0 -

Not deliberate I assure you,as my post said, i was asking out of curiosity and i was pointing out that text speak is hard to read that's all.
And if he/she takes any notice of the signature then it wont bother him/her at all.
See, you tried to do it with me, the quote works, i dont care much what you think. You dont have my consent to make me feel bad.:rolleyes:make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

True, this is not an English class but for old fogies like me it is incredibly hard to fathom out. I have to read it a few times over to figure it out.0 -

Sorry if you took offence. There was certainly none intended.
But its maybe the fact that i am golden oldie and that i have to read text speak very slowly for me to understand it fully.
I also proof read for a company so that makes it all the more difficult.
I can understand why you would do it in text on a text message (for quickness and cost) but why feel the need to do it on a public forum. I bet 99% of people dont post text speak on these threadsmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I didn't try to do anything. I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy. See the difference?0 -
