Boiler & Damp Damage in Loft

Bit of an odd problem - Had a new gas condensing boiler installed in my loft in September 2008 - no problems last winter. But now there appears to be condensation forming on the copper gas supply pipe which in turn is dripping onto the loft floorboard & loft insulation and then causing damp damage to the hall ceiling and wall underneath. None of the water pipes to & from the boiler appear to be leaking and nothing else has changed in the loft - for example new loft insulation.
I have tried putting pipe insulation around the gas supply pipe (not sure if I should do that) in the loft but this made the problem even worse.
The boiler itself was only serviced last month.
Many thanks in advance for any suggestions on this problem.

Contact whoever installed the boiler and explain the situation. I'd remove the pipe insulation if they decide to come to see the problem though.0

You need to make sure that the condensation is atmospheric condensation and NOT leaking condensate from the boiler as a product of combustion as if so,this is highly corrosive and can nibble through copper tubing thus causing a gas leak.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Interestingly I have had to top up the pressure in the boiler a couple of times in the last month or so. Is it possible that could be related?0
