Hi
Does anyone know their email address? I just can't be bothered phoning.
It's sad to see what a rubbish company they are now. At one time they made excellent hifi speakers and in the 1970s managed to produce a half decent Tuner Amp.
Nowadays their products are of a very poor quality; it's no surprise to discover that Alba falls under their umbrella. Also it doesn't surprise me that their helpline has been described as "Rubbish". What do you expect from a company that sells rubbish?
Take my advice; don't buy anything with the Goodmans name on it. I had a Goodmans TV - it lasted for a little over a year before it went "phut" and in spite of several diodes, resistors and transistors the engineers just couldn't fix it. I won't be buying another or any other Goodmans products. Previous TVs I've owned have lasted much longer than that. Including an Onwa which I had for about five years when I sold it; I heard that it was still working years later.
So if someone can let me know their email address before they go out of business I'd be grateful.
I'm not very impressed with this site either; When I first attempted to place this post I got an error message about new users not being able to place links - I DIDN'T PLACE ANY LINKS!!! Just some "Smilies" or should I say "Frownies"?0 -
Some unsuspecting telephone operator got a lucky escape
Especially if it is concerning an order and you get the "we can only talk to the customer, sorry" response0 -

And we thought people living in third world countries had it hard0 -
I was hoping for an answer instead of a smartares comment.0
