Now it is paid fortnightly my payments for december are due on the 11th and 25th. Will the second payment most likely be paid a little early or late?

Last year they paid 2 days before because post offices closed earlier.

I get Income Support every week. Meant to be a Monday, but in the bank on Saturday. Will xmas/new year effect me? My partners Carers allowance is also paid same day this be ok?0

Is monday the 28th a bank holiday as boxing day falls on a saturday? If so then you will probably get the payment for that week just before Xmas.0

As I mentioned before and confirmed below, 2008 did pay a day earlier. The info was published late 22nd Dec 2008!!!

Benefit and State Pension date changes
Below are the date changes to benefits and State Pension:- payments due on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25, and Friday 26 December 2008 will be paid on Tuesday 23 December 2008
- payments due on Thursday 1 January 2009 will be paid on Wednesday 31 December 2008
