Redhill Appliances - The Pits

 I am absolutely furious. I ordered a washing maching and a dishwasher paid for delivery and removal of old products - came to almost £700 from Redhill Appliances.
Result:
the dishwasher was delayed. The dishwasher eventually turned up at 820am this Saturday morning. The delivery driver didn't call to warn me he was turning up at 820am so I answered the door told him to give me a minute and went upstairs to change out of my pyjamas. Came back downstairs to let him in he had just left the dishwasher on the street and he was nowhere to be seen:mad:

I live on my own so there was NO WAY I could get it indoors plus he hadn't removed the old dishwasher so no room. At 820am on a Sat morning I didn't want to wake my neighbours up to help me move it -so I had to wait. After over an hour of trying to call Redhill Appliance office, eventually got someone on the phone. The guy was like "well we can't call the delivery guy back - what do you want me to do about it" a real attitude. I said - look the delivery guy pitches up at 820 am on a Sat morning with no warning, doesn't remove the old dishwasher which is what I paid for, I am not wonderwoman and I can't move the dishwasher indoors - why didn't he call me to warn me". He said "Well why should he call you before hand?" I said look when you are calling on someone at 820 on a saturday morning you really should check before hand. He said "The delivery man does his own schedule" I said: "so using your logic I should have got up at 3am this morning" He said "That would be stupid" The conversation went on like this - he was just a real cheeky b*****d. I am fuming I have never heard such an attitude from customer services - absolutely dreadful:

What is wrong with Redhill Appliances:
1. They don't give you what you pay for - delivery and removal of product
2. Customer service operators are the cheekiest B*****ds ever - real attitude.

They may be cheap but with Redhill Appliances you get what you pay for - I will correct that you don't get what you pay for with Redhill Appliances. terrible, terrible, terrible.

oh yes and BTW I didn't even sign the delivery notice cause the delivery man disappeared so if it disappears from outside, it is their liability as I haven't accepted delivery.

I think they have not fullfilled their part of the deal and have breached your statutory rights under the supply of goods and services act,at least by not removing the other product.Depends what you want to do about it.At the least if they do not respond to written request to come and move the old item, you could threaten to charge someone to remove it then take them to the county court to recover the cost.
