hi i have a orange live box which has 2 ports for wired pc's theses are both used, and i need to wire a laptop in as well, as this will only work intermittently on its wireless setup can anyone suggest a easy way off doing this. i do also have a belkin wired/ wireless modem router witch i no longer use, so would it be possible to use this in some way or is there something i can buy to make it possible to ad a extra wired connection.
thanks for any help you can give.

First off I'd persist in getting the wireless link to work, have you tried changing the wireless channel, it usually sorts out problems?
You would need router to expand you connections, a modem/router won't do.
Something like this.

Yes, simply replace the crappy Livebox with the Belkin - no need to buy anything else. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Otherwise, a simple unmanaged network switch would work, if you need to expand further ... THis one from eBuyer for under £6 (+delivery)
