Please help - 7 day cooling off period

Hi, my wife bought a 'driving experience' from Silverstone 2 days ago for £200 but it looks like our circumstances are about to change for the worse. She did not take out cancellation insurance and they do not offer a 7 day cooling off period. Is there anyway that we can legally get our money back? Please help as it is a lot of money.
Thanks very much. Andy

How did you purchase it? Did you buy it online or purchase it at a store, or did a dealer come round to your house etc.?[DISCLAIMER: Any posts made by myself are my opinions and do not represent my employer]

Distance Selling Regulations, allow 7 working days to cancel goods and services as long as they are not "bespoke".Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Had your wife actually got round to booking a date yet?0

AND providing the services were not for a specified date.0 -
No dates - it is open ended for 12 months after purchase.
Thanks all for your help.0 -
Term 2.20 Suggests to me that the DSR's do not apply in full and specifically the right to cancel won't apply
I say this as it states leisure services which it examples as car hire or sporting events. I would class this as such.
The only other possibility is if its a voucher for anything from them rather than this specific service.0 -
Have you spoken to the company yet?0

Can you sell it to a friend or even on eBay? I've had a couple of these in the past and can't recall if my name was actually on the voucher, but whenever I've turned up at the track (not Silverstone), they're not really bothered with checking ID or anything - you turn up, say who you are, they tick your name off and you're done. So even if it's in a particular name, selling it on is probably possible.0
