I wrap everything, thou Santa does have different coloured wrapping them the rest.
Dd like the Disney Princesses, so santa has one princess and we have the other.
Even as a child every was wrapped in my stocking, even a packet of pork scratchings. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I wrap all presents.
We have a full Christmas dinner.
The kids have stockings, they are 13 and 11 now ~ while they're under my roof, they'll always have a stocking, even if they are still here at the age of 34! lol
I love the fact that the Christmas magic can start again, it's the babies first Christmas this year!!
Family are coming for dinner, so plenty of food, plonk and chocolate!

Wrap it all.
If the presents are all left unwrapped then the child can see everything at once and tries to take it all in at once, looking at everything etc. And may focus on the one thing they want the most and not really notice some things.
When you unwrap it focusses them on each gift one at a time and you know they're really taken in everything they've been given.0 -
When I was a child we had a pillowcase each with our name pinned on, six piles may have got a bit mixed up. Aunties used to wrap presents but every penny counted so presents from mum and dad wew unwrapped. In later years we got our presents wrapped and I have always wrapped everything except bikes. prames etc which are a bit big to wrap. I have always bought co-ordinating wrap and matching tags so under the tree looks good before Christmas but we send small people's gifts to Santa so they get them at home.
I have 6 presents left to wrap, one hasn't landed yet so nearly done thank goodness, it's not my faveorite job having such a lot of people to wrap for.0 -
I had great fun today wrapping a rocking reindeer, was very awkward :rotfl:Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research

Santa pressies deffo wrapped!!
althought I always used to say to my mum "does Santa shop at Marks n spencers too?"....same paper!! lol
Unfortunately 11yr old is far too old for all that stocking malarkey!
11 isn't too old for a Stocking !
We all get a Stocking, Mum,Dad,Myself,Brother & Sister. Xmas wouldn't be the same without us all jumping into Parents Bed on Xmas morning for Stockings!
We wrap all our Gifts - much more fun having a surprise

Everything gets wrapped, except OH & I have a chocolate orange each that is not. I have even wrapped a couple of bits that I ordered for me from OH, he os just doing the tag!
I love the excitement as our LO's unwrap each present. Though we are tidy & have a bag to put all the rubbish in as we unwrap it!0 -
you can still wrap the phone but make sure you turn the volume of the phone right up. You could even put a christmas ring tone on it:T
We did similar for our daughter when we gave her a phone for her birthday. We wrapped it up and put it in her room and rang it in the morning. Definitely turn the volume up as our daughter took ages to wake up!!!
As for pressies I wrap everything. When I was young my dad didn't believe in wrapping anything...rather disappointing! Happily my mum wrapped things in later years and my Dad now seems to wrap everything, he seems to have more Xmas spirit now than he did 30 odd years ago.0 -
one year my Mum didnt' wrap the childrens stocking presents that santa had left at her house , my daughter has never ever forgotten, the look on their face when they just tipped the stockings upside down and out came the unwrapped presents was just not the same as the excitement and delight that you see when they've unwrapped all their goodies
we wrap everything even a 3 foot high superman statue !!0 -
my boys have santa sacks at the bottom of their beds. they are now 13 and 11 so these sacks are filed with smellies, socks, pants, hair gel and the like none of which i wrap.
Under the tree are all the main presents which are wrapped. Each child has his own colour wrapping paper.
Wouldn't be a proper christmas if the presents were not wrapped.0
