What baby wear is most useful?

I have been given the job of buying some baby wear for a 6 month old. I was wondering what types of clothes are the most useful?

Sleepwear, body suits, or day wear? What would a 6 month old get through the most of?

I have to stop looking at the baby clothes websites, the models are just too cute!

For me, it was sleep suits - or all in one type things. With the poppers round the nappy area.

Sleepsuits here too, also socks. A good fitting warm snowsuit is great for this weather although I would recommend one with a side zip or a double fronted zip, as the ones with 1 zip down the front require a double jointed baby.
    Baby outfits are so cute!

I used to dress mine in tracksuits, or trackie bottoms with a jumper. I also liked 'padders', those slippers they make for babies.

I like white stuff. Am I weird?

I was going to say long-sleeved bodysuits (in colours) as I use those every day but my baby is 4.5 months old so maybe when 6 months she will wear different stuff?

  • Vests with poppers on the bum, snuggly sleepy suits with feet, if they're crawling some thick trousers.
