You would need to go back to court to have the CCJ amended to include storage costs if you want them aswell, or take out a separate order.

I believe to transfer this to a high court officer will cost about £500.

As to making him BR, this will cost you which you will have to add to the debt, but be sure he has assets to pay for it. When you make him BR he has to sell up his assets to pay off the debts, and then if there is anything outstanding they take 50-70% of his surplus income for upto 3 years or until all debts are paid off. Note you get paid on a pro-rata basis so if he has lots of debts then you might not get as much as you might think. i.e. you add a 10k debt, but he has over 100k of debt, and has say 30k assets, you get 10% which is £3000.

Bailiffs actually work quite well against businesses as they only need to make peaceful entry, so against businesses that allow anyone to enter the premise they get in no problem and can begin levying goods, anyone remember when Tesco lost over faulty petrol and bailiffs seized about £8,000 of alcohol. They entered peacefully once so are allowed to re-enter with force if needed, levied the goods 2nd time, 3rd time they collected them.

    .

I doubt very much if it possible to "amend" a county court judgement as the claim will be based on the original particulars of claim. I fear that a new CC claim has to be made for these storage costs.

I really admire the tenacity of the OP and would be pleased if he managed a result against this guy.

I think your probably right terryw in thinking about it. Maybe if the judgement was only 1-2 months old it might be more feasible. No harm in trying :D

    He is a she;)

I'd like to thank you all for your helpful/ constructive comments. I'm going to wait and see what the outcome is at the bankruptcy hearing and I'm hoping this will lead me down the right path.

This is a great site for getting good constructive advice or at least a kind word. It really is appreciated that you all took the time to drop in on my thread.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone! (even you Anihilator!:rotfl:)
