Unpaid housing benefit from 7 months ago!

I am owed housing benefit and JSA 7 months ago, and i'm just being ignored whenever I phone or go in to see whats happening. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get the money i'm owed?:mad:

Have you followed any complaints procedures?

When did you put in your claim ? Have you been told why it hasn't been paid ? Has your claim been rejected ?

If you are not getting anywhere with this, Citizens Advice can negotiate on your behalf and find out exactly what is happening with your claim.

Or write to your MP, can email them. Sure his/her contact details will be on the gravy train website.

The only reason I know of claims taking that long would be a fraud investigation taking place.

I'm not meaning to be rude or unhelpful but you were posting about having several thousand pounds and planning a round the world trip in June this year so perhaps they are looking into your capital - sorry if I've misunderstood that though.

Don't let them ignore you though, go through their complaints process and contact your MP which, believe me, does speed things along.
