Commercial printing of a Publisher Document

Hello, I have put a poem over the top of a photo, using Publisher. Now I want to have it printed to A4 using Photobox or Tesco etc. It lets me upload it, but then tells me that the photo has an error and can't be printed.
Is there a way round this? (I am very non-techie!!!)

It'll probably be because it's not saved as an image and therefore is not recognised by Tesco's or whoever's software.
I'll do a bit of research and come back on this one!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Awwwh Thanks Moneygrabber! Its going to be a special little christmas pressie if I ever get it sorted! I am using a free trial of publisher 2007 and there is an option to 'pack and go' to use a commercial printing service, and it says it embeds the print stuff (or something like that) but when I click on it to upload to tesco or whatever, it says it has an error. I am ready for throwing the flippin' thing through the window!:mad::mad::mad::mad::hello:  please play nicely children !0

Sorry for taking so long to come back! Apparently, it may be a rather simple solution for you since you're using Publisher 2007. Once your publication is open, click File, Save As and then from the drop down menu that says save as type, click JPEG file interchange format. It would probably be best then to increase the resolution as far as possible, especially if you're wanting a clear image.
After you've saved it, you can open it up again in Windows Picture Viewer, or similar program and see if the quality is okay. Otherwise, we might have to look for a different method!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

'commercial printing service' does not equal 'online photo printing'
what they mean is being able to give the file to a proper printers, the type of people that do leaflets, posters, banners etc0 -

But Tesco is hardly a commercial printer now, are they? What they mean is getting it printed on photographic paper, only on A4 size. The commercial comes into the equation as supposed to doing it at home.
If it was going to be done by a commercial printer, there'd be no problem handing them a publisher file.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

what MS mean by 'commercial printing service' is a proper printers
if they still have problems getting it printed, might be worth trying somewhere like jessops0 -

tis ok
its the odd thing with Publisher, its got the 'make things at home' users, & the 'quick leaflet done in the office' users, with all the terminology being aimed at the latter0 -
