My Tesco has never accepted internet vouchers and scrutinise any others you present.
I aways feel like I'm trying to diddle them, they make you feel quite a bad person for handing in a coupon.0 -
At one point in time tesco actually advecated they took other manafacturers coupons for products and you didnt need to buy the product yes this may have been sometime a go but still they never made it clear when they stopped so really depends on whos on the till i guess as some will and some wont0

They stopped it a couple of months ago. At our local Tesco there are signs up on every till explaining that you need to buy the product.
I think reason behind them stopping was the introduction of internet vouchers and the companies stopped paying Tesco for the vouchers. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -

Same for ours but it's not always followed by the till operator, youngsters are more prone to reject them, older peopel scan them and if they are accepted they take them.0 -
Its at the stores descretion as to wether they will take the vouchers or not.£5306 Debt As Of Feb 2011

Rather them than me. I wouldn't be risking my job for any customer no matter how long they had been coming. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -

If the latter, fair enough really it was always discretionary and I've heard the manufacturers were getting more than a smidgen cross.. if the former and it was due to the fact they were internet coupons then that's more than a little dissappointing. :S
I'm assuming the OP bought the correct items - he/she did say that they knew they had to buy the right stuff.ELITE 5:2
