Anyone know what it is? Harsher credit scoring maybe?

Cause from as far as I can tell they're basically the same, lending criteria and all.

  • I'm not sure about RBS but for NatWest, the Platinum card have 0% purchase for 3 months and 0% BT offer for 15 months (for new cardholders only). APR is the same for either Classic or Platinum unless you are an Advantage Gold subscriber who get 1% off.

I would assume that you would need a slightly higher internal score + good credit rating to get the Platinum card.
  • So like I thought, other than the intro offers they're essentially the same.

    Thanks
