Can anyone actually recommend a company to fit windows in Manchester area? Have been warned off all the big companies, (Safestyle,Everest etc) and am terrified about booking anyone!

Alexander windows were very good for us, in Cheadle.

Had mine and my parents done by Arena Windows in Levenshlume. Let me order to spec (ie openings etc) and even came back to do the finishing 2 months later as I was renovating the house.

Just had both my bay windows replaced by G Commons & Son. Used them before and always excellent service and price. Our large bays with 5 panels cost us £2100 which was way lower than any of the other quotes we had. Price incl toughened glass and new windowsills too.

Based just outside of Manchester but I'm sure may travel. (Im in Burnley )

Just avoid Deanbrook Windows in Cheadle. They did not even conform to basic regulations by installing normal glass where it should have been toughened.
