resizing pictures on moonpig/hallmark

I have been trying all night to upload pics for a xmas card on behalf of a friend. The pics upload fine but are too big for the cards and can only be enlarged not shrunk.

I have tried changing the pixels but then it states it is of too low a resolution and is still too big for the card. I have been using a windows photo editor as I don't have photoshop. It is driving me round the twist and I need help! I don't want to let my friend down but it is driving me bonkers.

There is a free online version of Photoshop for basic image maniputlation (www dot photoshop dot com )

Alternatively, the moonpig customer service are excellent, you could contact them and they will be able to resize the images for you.

Download Paint.Net it's free and you'll be able to resize and change before you upload.

Thanks for both of those tips. I downloaded paint.net but don't have much idea how to use it. I think from fiddling about that the problem is that I cropped the pics prior to trying to make them into cards. I have tested out with uncropped pics of my own and they work fine. great links though from both of you that I will definitely use in the future.
