Confused BMI Check In Policy

I could really do with someones in the know advice or details where to find out, i flatley refuse to pay the premium rate phone number for customer service which should be expected. (wouldnt have booked with BMI if I had seen this charge)
Anyways...:rotfl:
I have booked for two passengers , with one bag. (all we need)
Now the person with the bag needs to check in at the airport, however does that mean in order for us to sit together I also need to incur the £10 airport check in fee?
or can i book in online (no cost) and then go to the airport to arrange seats?
very confused about this and would think it would be explained on the site, but to no availe.
Thanks for your help :T

I just booked two seats with BMI baby with two people and one case. I just chose airport check in for both of us.
It seemed way too difficult and quite frankly too much hassle to do it any other way. I thought it was worth the £5 to avoid having one of us to check in online and the other at the airport.Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -

What makes you think that you get reserved seats on BMI Baby?
If you want to sit with your friend, just make sure that you get on the 'plane together.0 -

BMI Baby do allocate seat numbers, it is not a free-for-all. If you book in on-line you can print off your boarding pass which shows your seat number.0
