Hi does anybody know whether non-Hyundai approved garages charge less than Hyundai dealerships for a service on my i20?
Been given a quote of £142 but want to know whether anybody else offers less so I can haggle them down on the price.
Cheers

Was that from the Hyundai dealership? Sounds about right tbh. For most 'cheaper' car brands at least, I don't think there's really any saving in having a service at somewhere like Kwik Fit. Looking on their website they charge about that, and they won't give you a courtesy car and it will mean you won't be able to resell your car with 'full main dealer history'.0

It's unlikely a main dealer would be prepared to haggle on basic service prices. They are usually menu priced and you either take it or leave it.
It's up to you if you want to shop around and possibly use a back street, non-franchised establishment. Main dealers certainly wont be price matching them."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
