Gosh which B&M was that?! There wasn't many people in the Lincoln one although the location isn't as good as it could be and the building isn't fantastic. Mum was pleasantly suprised as she thought it would be full of tat when we first went in! Dont think I'll be able to keep her out of there now!

Oooh, I'm in Lincoln too and I think I'm due another visit after reading this thread. I was a bit disappointed to read that other stores alcohol and not ours :( And you're right, it's not the best store and not in the best location either....although it is only a 10 minute drive for me, as long as the train barriers don't go down for 10 minutes that is lol
I've had plenty of bits from there for my Christmas gifts I've been putting together, including 10 candy canes for 69p, Toy Story, Peppa Pig and Christmas shaped chocs also 69p, charcater facecloths 89p and Xmas mugs 59p each or 2 for £1. The baby stuff is usually pretty good for nappy cakes too :)

my husband works in the LIchfield B&M, so I do a lot of my shopping in B&M! My latest purchases were 90 x 90 brown curtains and new tea and sugar caddies.

Lincoln has alcohol :) at least it did on monday night. Very tempted but I resisted! I think i am off on Saturday for a mooch as I get paid on friday! wonder if they have blank cd cases? bought my mum a cd but the case came damaged (it was 2nd hand, rare cd) but the cd itself is perfect... need a new case for it. Hmm B&M or poundland for that?

Had you thought of looking in your own collection for a good condition case? Just swap it, very mse. If not I think Poundland often have them. I bought a couple of those owls as gifts and realised when I got them home they were understuffed..maybe seconds? anyway, easily remedied by opening and adding a few more beans or lentils (sorry haven't looked yet to see what's inside) and resewing securely of course!

Just had to post re the Owl Doorstops you mentioned gemzie, they are so gorgeous, i brought six as Chrissie pressies for my dads neighbours, decided to try and find an image online to email my sister, they are £3.99 in B&M, £22 in Laura Ashley......

    http://www.seekgifts.co.uk/doorstop/

(posted the seekgifts link as Laura Ashley site is down at the mo!, owl is on the second row down)

Wow is the link you have posted the exact one that is in b&m please cause if that is the same then that would make a great pressie for my mother i law thanks

Yup, tried that, I only have those 2CD cases and most are scratched anyway. Dont want to make it obvious what I've done :o

Just got back from Lincoln store and you're right, there was plenty of booze! Typical of them to start stocking it inbetween my visits lol. Wish I'd looked on here again last night/this morning and seen your message then I could have had a look out for CD cases. I can't remember seeing any, but I had 2 kids with me and there was all the Christmas stuff out so they may or may not have any.
