• Hi there,

IMO I would never trust any online company that uses any incorrect information or lies in their website, and has negative reviews. Have a read of these:

http://blog.robferrer.co.uk/2009/11/17/electronicmegastore-com-seems-to-be-a-scam
...confirms the website is full of mis-information, and may be unsafe for making payments;
http://www.shobby.co.uk/shop,3253.html
...is full of negative reviews.

If it sounds too good to be true - it probably is!

Many people have paid for goods they have never received from EM, myself included. I have been promised a refund on several occasions since the middle of December but never received it. Check out the reviews on shobby dot com.
(beware false testimonies from India)

The address they give in London's dockland has been confirmed to me by the Metropolitan Police to be just an room in an office block - no-one there has heard of EM.

A call I received from them (claiming to be from Manchester) showed on my caller display as 'international'.

These operators are fraudulent - DO NOT send them any money.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

• Finally managed to get a refund through my bank using the Visa Chargeback procedure.

Would still advise buyers to avoid Electronicmegastore.com
