NPower
I have just had a visit from a sales rep for NPower, knocking the doors in our area, who told me that fuel prices are due to rise and that she wanted to sign me up to their 'new' capped duel fuel price with a lower unit price capped at 2.6 pence per unit compared to other providers 3.4 ? and that I would also qualify for a £200 cash back after 12 months.
I've done a bit of research and found that NPower are giving £100 for duel fuel and also another £100 if you stay with them for 12 months(£200 in total) but I can't find any of the tariff prices that she quoted, when I refused to sign up on the spot,as I'm currently with Atlantic for duel fuel and said I was happy to shop around, she said 'oh well I hope you'll be happy paying higher prices this winter'.
Has anyone else seen anything about fuel prices rising or know anything else about this NPower offer ?

...,when I refused to sign up on the spot,as I'm currently with Atlantic for duel fuel and said I was happy to shop around, she said 'oh well I hope you'll be happy paying higher prices this winter'....
What a way to try and close a deal.
She won't sell much with an attitude like that."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
