Barclaycard backlog

Just to let everyone know I have been on the phone to progress chase a claim for mis selling of PPI on a Barclaycard and the advisor told me they are still working on claims registered in SEPTEMBER!, so for anyone with a claim ongoing it may be a long wait. FOS after 40 days methinks....

Hi Paulman. Just tobe aware that they have 8 weeks from the date of your letter to respond. It is 40 days if you send a SAR Letter. Also it is in some cases taking up to two years now for the FOS to even look at your claim. I have had a barclaycard Loan claim which is now up to three mmonths since it was upheld and the FOS are chasing them my claim is URGENT and this is how long it has taken. I really hope you get yours sorted quickly but don't hold your breath. GOOD LUCK

As maxdp says, if it has to go to FOS there is an even longer wait there. Lets hope that they sort it before and no need for FOS involvement. ;)
