1% cashback Barclaycard

Anyone know what happened to the 1% cash back Barclaycard? Saw it referred to in the main ‘cash back credit cards’ article on this site, but today the same article has no mention. Also nothing on the Barclaycard site.

I guess they’ve withdrawn it, in which case could anyone suggest an alternative cash back card?

Not fussed if it’s a points card instead of cash back so long as the points can be redeemed for vouchers on the high street or in a supermarket. Just want the biggest return for spending, which is likely to be less than £2k per year (ruling out the Amex).

If anyone can suggest any reward card giving a 1% return or more I’d love to hear!

I think the Barclaycard one is withdrawn.

Have a look at play.com.
You have to spend your reward points at play but it's 1% most places 2% for spend at play and 10% for first £150.
Assuming you buy a few Cds/DVDs at Xmas or birthdays you should be able to redeem them and play sell other stuff as well like books, gifts etc.
