Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes …

I bought a Hoover washing machine from the Sainsbury’s website in December 2006. It has broken down 4 times in the past 3 years. It broke last night and when I called Sainsbury’s they referred me to Domestic & General who look after my extended warranty and they have said that the can’t send an engineer out to me until next Wednesday. I can’t be without my washing machine for that long and have complained to both Sainsbury’s and Domestic General and they have both said there is northing else they can do to help.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do? Can I force Sainsbury’s to give me a refund so I can buy a replacement washing machine?

No you cant force a refund.

Secondly you reported it today wednesday. That means 5 working days for an engineer visit. Doesnt seem unreasonable to me.
