Would halfords fit me a dab aerial?

Hi
After reading some information on dab aerials, I think I may leave it to the experts to replace my current roof aerial with a dab one, it just seems like too much hassle.
Question I have is, if I go to Halfords and pay them a few bob, would they do it for me or would I have to buy the whole unit from them?
I brought the dab unit from ebay and can install that myself its just the dab aerial. I dont mind having it stuck on the windscreen either.
Does anyone recommend any dealer (if halfords wont do this) in the west midlands area who could do it for cheap?
thanks

I doubt Halfords would undertake a specialist job like that, but when we needed to have our rather special radio fitted (which we also bought off eBay), we went to a local independent car accessory shop. A bit of Googleing brings up this place in Birmingham. Worth giving them a phone call??The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Doing a bit more research. To receive DAB signal, I need to change the aerial in the car. As I see it, I have three options:
1 - I could install a windscreen aerial, but I believe the screen is coated, which is likely to affect reception.
2 - I could change may extrnal aerial to a JVC HAL2, which would feed FM and DAB signals down two separate cables.
3 - Or I could install an interface lead made by Autoleads PC6-536. This lead as an FM / DAB splitter that connects to the existing aerial.
Option 3 is my preferred option, because it is cheapest.
Autoleads say this lead only works on non-amplified signals.
Does anyone know if my car has an aerial amplifier fitted? I have Focus TDCI 06 reg.
Any help would be welcome. thanks0 -

My son-in-law used to work for Halfords. He said they would get women in who had bought a baby seat from Mothercare and then expect Halfords to fit it free! Why should they fit something that you have not bought from them?I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

im more worried that the woman has a baby and appears to be driving a car, if you cant follow simple instructions like strapping a seat in, but yet trust some spotty oik to do it you need shooting0 -
Its the fault of the marketing guys who write FREE FITTING in 6ft letters on every poster and the words 'people who work here are inept and cant be arsed' are hidden on the back.0
