    Hi Aunty Jean
I haven't received my aerial yet. However I do live in a very poor reception area just as described by mcfisco. We don't get channel 5 and all TV is frequently unwatchable due to interference from frenchTV. So I don't hold out a lot of hope but would say if the thing works here it will probably work anywhere. Will keep you posted, if it doesn't arrive in the next two days I will be chasing them up, and hunting them down.:D

The reason that you may not get Ch 5 could be because it comes from a different transmitter to the other channels i.e. in a different direction. If you enter your post code into this site, it will give more information about your nearest transmitters, compass bearings, distance and type of aerial required.

    Thanks espresso.
That's a useful site to know about. You are right C5 in other direction to C1-4 and says need high gain or amplified aerial. Nothing I can do about roof aerial as it is housing association's and comes via 6 way split to my flat. Which is why I want to try this internal thing to see if there's any improvement.

Local aerial company has suggested this would be suitable for my loft.
