How about Egypt... just noticed post above said Sharm, I love it there! Bonus, it isn't euro.0

Thanks, I went to Sharm in September on a dancing holiday and stayed at the Hilton Sharks Bay but it was way too hot and never went anywhere, so wouldn't mind going back but probably closer to Naama Bay. Would also like to see the old part. Any ideas on decent hotels?0

Sharm in Egypt is best bet.Around 22c in Feb.In cyprus/Turkey only 16-17c.

I think the OP would do well to consult a website giving historical weather data before taking some of the advice on this thread re: expected temperatures at the beginning of Feb.
Here is one such site for starters..

Depends what you mean by warm. Do you want it to be warm enough to lie out in the sun?
If you do forget Europe. Nearest with warm daytimes (although can be cool at night) is definitely Egypt. Also Gambia is pretty cheap and hot in our winter (28-30deg) - also no time difference so no jet lag.
Failing that look at Cuba, Dominican etc.0 -

I completely second this post.
(and I've been to Egypt, Turkey and Gambia)0 -
Thirded.. for me, warm is over about 25 degrees, which does rule out Europe. Probably the nearest places would be Tunisia, Gambia, Egypt.
I've seen cheap deals for Jamaica, Thailand, Malaysia lately, but it does depend on your budget.

Temperatures of around 24 is fine by me and don't mind the cool nights. Don't want a long flight and would like to see more of Egypt so will probably plump for there. Will wait for the New Year to see if any deal come up. Would love a hotel by the sea so I can go snorkelling.0
