I use IKEA mats, the ones that are cheap and cheerful (they look a bit like towels) Lol then I just pray for a dry day once in a while. My mop bucket is refilled every morning with nice clean water, and I just mop. Of course the pest just watches all this, then when the floor is dry he just trots out and then back in again. Its a game which he almost always wins lol. I am sure he does it on purpose. Roll on summer.
Lol of course you could always shell out £29.99 for this

I myself will make do with the mop its cheaper lol

Huge dog with muddy paws in our house. First off we did hardwood floors throughout the downstairs and that obviously helps enormously. I buy cheap £12 fleece throws from Home & Bargain (they're huge and really soft) which go over the sofas and I throw down chenile mats inside the doors as they suck up moisture and easily pop in the washing machine.

I shut the dogs in the back hallway which is covered in dirt trap mats and tell them dogs to walk about and 'blot, blot'! :rotfl:

I've just bought a steam mop too which is great for cleaning and leaves the floors dry so the dogs don't have to stay in their beds for half an hour like they used to.
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

We buy the cheap woven fringed mats from Ikea (about a couple of quid each I think) and have a run of them from the back door through the kitchen. Seems to catch most of the mud/dirt/whatever, and they wash well too - we have a supply of them now!

Agree with the steam mop comments too - much quicker than a mop and bucket!
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

Well, as Zara goes out at least 4 times per day....and we live in a flat......

Last time I gave her a bath indoors myself was last year December - 3 hours later I was still cleaning the flat/walls/furniture from whatever she shook off.. stick with a groomer now :rotfl:
