Someone (not on here) suggested we call ours that.

I've got an 18 month old liver and white springer and he's called Monty. Named after Monty Panesar the cricketer because he bounds around the outfield enthusiastically.
Good luck with the pup, they're great pets (but everyone who has said that they are mad is right!)

Eldest son wants a dog one day and to call it Steve.
I also like Henry and Stan for names - I do kinda like 'people' names for them. I really liked a previous mention of the name Frank for a dog! Brilliant!
Arthur, Alfie & Bailey seem to be pretty popular names over the park at the moment. A guy I know has just got a boxer pup called Trigger.Genie
