    Jerry, as in Jerry Springer!!!!!

Someone (not on here) suggested we call ours that.

Can you imagine shouting that done the park? Still, it is better than Ian or Gustov. (sp) And no, I'm not joking - I really do know people whose dogs have those names.

I've got an 18 month old liver and white springer and he's called Monty. Named after Monty Panesar the cricketer because he bounds around the outfield enthusiastically.

Good luck with the pup, they're great pets (but everyone who has said that they are mad is right!)

Visit website www.englishspringer.co.uk for hints and tips. A friendly bunch on the forum. You may get name tips there.

Present dog is called Jim (poodle :D) or James if we are in a posh mood.

    In the past have had.

    Laddie - Airedale
    Floss - Old English
    Fred - Poodle
    Josie - Old English

I've always fancied Dave as a name for a dog - but Jim looked like a Jim and not a Dave.

Eldest son wants a dog one day and to call it Steve.

I also like Henry and Stan for names - I do kinda like 'people' names for them. I really liked a previous mention of the name Frank for a dog! Brilliant!

Arthur, Alfie & Bailey seem to be pretty popular names over the park at the moment. A guy I know has just got a boxer pup called Trigger.

Doubt you will want to use ours, but we have a rottweiler puppy named Oi lol :D

My sister wanted to call her springer "Oi" but my parents put there foot down and choose Maddie. Maddie has since had pups and my sis has kept one who is now called "little Oi". :rotfl:
