Please bere with me as new to this, I have 816 shares with GSK in a nominee account (I think) with Equitini (my personal experience with this company is awful, as it most people I know) and curerently I get a cheque through every 3 months for £114.25 I think, does that mean my shares are help in a nominee account, ready to sell? If so, can I transfer them into either FirstDirect (my mortgage is with them and they seem helpful) or a Selftrade acct (havent opened one yet but considering as it seem to be a very popular one) to start playing with? Will there be a charge to trasfer them from nominee account with Equitini to a trading account with FD or self trade?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

I haven't used Equiniti, but do use Selftrade.
Selftrade do use a nominee account system as well, as do a lot of other share dealing services such as Halifax etc.
It should be easy enough to get a transfer charge from Equinity to move your holding to another provider, if you aren't happy there.Debbie0 -
