Windows XP - viewing windows while moving them around

Dunno what's happened, but before on XP (Home edition) when I dragged a window around on the screen it would actually move with my mouse. But today it's just giving me a box outline of the window to the new position and only moves the window when I release the button - anyone know why this is and how to get the old window-drag setting back??

You need to right click my computer, properties, advanced, settings and notice the unchecked and checked boxes, pick the one you wish to happen to when you drag around things.

As lees post, then performance settings, visual effects, tick "show windows contents while dragging"

All these visual effects slow down the PC a bit though, I turn them all off.

Seems like a tweak program may have been used.

Tweak apps are expensive when you can hack your registry for free.
