Anyone shop at the big and tall store?

Strange question I know. What I need is someone to measure a Mans shirt for me in length. My brother is 6ft 4 and I picked out a shirt for him but my Mum insists it won't fit and I take it back. It is annoying the life out of me, as I am convinced it will be long enough. She said only stuff from the big and tall store will fit (Which I think is rubbish)

It is a 2XXL shirt. If anyone happens to be around this size (or height) and shop in the store, could you measure a shirt to let me know? The length is the biggest problem.

Thanks:money:

Laura

I think its in Howard St.
Is your brother large as well as tall?
sometimes xxxL stuff is just very wide but not long. Mind you 6 ft 4" really isnt THAT tall nowadays (well not in our family anyhow)
    Arty.
Id take the advice given above and ring.

As said, 6'4" isn't that tall these days, all the fellas in the family are over that and shop in 'normal' shops - you should be fine.
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
  • If this were for a tall woman - like myself - then I would definitely see the reason to be worried, as most 'normal' tops are waaaaay too short for me and I don't want everybody seeing my belly button!

However, 6 foot 4 for a man isn't overly tall and my Dad, OH and brother are all over 6 foot and shop at normal places.

I think your mom is worrying about nothing.

He's not large but he likes things baggy!

I know, I told her he's not that tall but she argues and argues. She got him shirts from Marksies which were too short but I think he just likes long shirts.

Howard Street - Brilliant. I tend not to go into shops and do it online, so am lost at where to even start to be honest.

He may just also hav e a particularly long body. who knows! Thanks for humouring me with such a stupid question

Super duper! Rang the one in Howard street who said 34 inches from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of shirt - is very long (longest they have) so need to see how mine measures up now! Cheers

My husband is taller than 6'4", has a 48" chest & has a shirt & tie job.

M&S shirts fit him fine: 18" collar /XXL are almost too wide but plenty long enough. Shops like High & Mighty etc are remarkably expensive in comparison.

Thanks Luxor, i argued and argued this with her yesterday but she insists she is right and I am wrong. I will persevere. I will even buy him the shirt myself if I have to, just to prove a point!
