Should I phone mbna back or keep writing letters?

Hiya,
I received a call from MBNA bank yesterday stating that they are looking into my complaint about ppi and that they would like me to call to discuss this further. Should I call them to give them a piece of my mind or should I keep everything in writing incase it has to go to the FOS? I know some of these call centres are quite skilled in wording things to get you to agree to things that you wouldn't in writing.
Any ideas much appreciated.

If you ring them this is said to speed up the complaints procedure for them so not such a bad thing. Just keep to topic of your PPI being missold and keep reiterating what you wrote in your original letter. I know of a couple that have posted that they got quicker offers this way but the choice is yours. You can opt to keep everything in writing if you wish I would think.
  • Hi

I got several claims sorted by phone. I think MBNA is just paying out now. Hold your ground as they will make you a lower offer but tell them what you expect and include interest!

    Good luck.
