At the end of this week there should be new templates so I would await them. If it is the first time this has happened the bank might refund it as a gesture of goodwill.

Regardless of the current situation with the supreme court, there is still no positive ruling and therefore you are currently in dispute with your bank.

Anything in dispute is covered by this
AMINISTRATION OF THE JUSTICES ACT 1970
Whereby it is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE to harass creditors by ignoring disputes about whether the debtor owes the money

Write to the debt collector and state the above and say "You are currently in breach of this act" as is the bank

This will scare the pants off debt collectors because they are committing a CRIMINAL OFFENCE

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TELL THEM and at the same time demand an answer as to why they are harassing you when the account is in dispute. Doubtful you will not hear from them again and if you do, threaten them with action under the JUSTICES ACT 1970

Don't you just love the bar room lawyers signing up here.
Makes you wonder why they don't offer their services for free to the likes of the OFT & MSE Martin - it would save a potential fortune in barristers fees if they really knew what they were on about.

OP, contact your bank and see if they will refund your charges. However as it is a double whammy, I'm not sure they will be too eager, especially since they are all nursing their legal fees over the recent legal battle to justify what they are doing is not illegal.

Please read post 1 and digest it prior to answering since none of the above is happening.
