Balance Transfer - Pay of my wife's card?

Just about to apply for one of the fee free charity cards to transfer a balance from my wife's credit card. Is this ok, or do any balance transfers have to be in your own name?

No problem with that - as long as the card you are xfering from is not from the same provider.0

That may be a problem then - I was planning on taking out a charity card to transfer from a Sainburys card, both run by HBOS if I'm not mistaken....0
