Help My Mobile has gone mad!!!

I have a HTC Touch 3G mobile and tonight it seems to have done a Reset but now wont let me do anything with it.

I turned it back on and it did its set up like it always did but it would not find my Network which is Orange so had to go into settings and turn it on myself so it would pick a Network up.

but When i do this and click on OK it comes up with Ring tone error and says

This ring tone file is corrupted or unavailable.please choose a different ring tone.

Well ive done this and it does this with each one so till it finds a ringtone that works it wont let me do anything with the dam phone.

now my phone worked ok before this tonight and im not sure what to do.

Just to Add im now getting the message saying that a Problem has occurred with cprog.exe whenever i turn phone on.

any ideas please.

sounds like something has happened to the operating system on the phone. installed any updates and/or new software lately?

if a soft reset didn't do anything for you then the next option might be a hard reset. but be warned this will erase all data and personal settings from the phone and put it back to factory settings.

Did the hard reset and all is in order now.

Phone works a Treat.
