Cut your own hair!! (Probably for those with long hair!)

I did this at uni all the time! Also from This morning! My hair is a bit short now to do it but its so easy and really looks nice! and of course very mse!

OP - What do you mean by 'cut into the hair' please?

Definitely going to give this a shot - my barnet has been looking dreadful since I lost my job, as I haven't been able to scrape up the money for a trim.

I've done this a few times, but I always have the same peeve, the layers on the top of my head end up really short, but my overall length is still too long. Maybe I just have a weird shaped head lol, but if you think about it the hair from your crown stands up straight and that from your nape goes around the curve of your head before going up straight, so it's always going to be much longer than the rest.

I've been cutting my own hair for a while now using a variation on this technique(tying bauble at nape of neck instead of scalp) which I learned from here- http://community.livejournal.com/feyeselftrim/2389.html#cutid1 Feye also has instructions for V and U-shaped hemlines on her website too.
