I need to patch up several places where the electrician has chopped and chased out.I've bought the gypsum plaster browning,in a rather convenient 25kilo bag,(only size they do apparently)
The text on the bag says to mix it with clean water, but gives no mention of proportions or ratios. Can someone help me out please??

Find a clean bucket put 1/2 litre of clean water in mix in plaster till very stiff bit like margarine texture, make sure for deeper chasing out you use undercoat plaster to build up level to existing , then use your finishing plaster to level off last 1/4 inch. finishing plaster will crack if used on its own for deep stuff,
Or take the plaster back get a refund, a buy a litre tub of one coat filler to any depth, great stuff. all the DIY boys do it or Decorating Merchants.I used to be confused, now I just don't understand:rotfl:

Browning is hard to use in my opinion, I would swap it for Bonding plaster, much easier to use IMHO0
