I have got an xbox live trial for the big black box and my mate has just bought a 360. Will the trial work on his 360 or is it only for the ugly beast?

If your friend has the xbox preium package (the one with the harddrive and wireless controller and headset) he will get his own one month trail just by registering (just register for the free subscription and at the very end it will pop up and tell you that you can have a month for free.
if not your account should work as well but im not 100% sorry.0
